Cypress Creek Alumni Amare Stoudemire takes home the NBA's Player of the Month for March.
Phoenix Suns forward Amare Stoudemire, who was heavily speculated to be on his way out of Phoenix around the All Star break,now has his team poised for the playoffs.
The Suns are currently the number five seed out West and Amare was just named the NBA's Player of the Month for March 2010.
Stoudemire came into March playing like a man and left it as a beast, averaging 27.3 points and 9.9 rebounds with a .577 Field Goal percentage and .848 Free Throw percentage in 14 games, during which the Suns went 12-2 and rose near the top of the Western Conference standings.
Amare Stoudemire was born in Lake Mary, Florida and attended six different high schools in Central Florida before graduating from Cypress Creek in 2002. His jerysey number thirty-two has been retired at Cypress Creek.
