Montverde Rises Above Winter Park in OT
                      
It took an extra period of play in Baltimore, but Montverde edged out Winter Park to advance to the 
finals of the NHSI where they will face Findlay Prep out of Nevada.

Austin Rivers of Winter Park dropped in 26 points and collected 16 rebounds, but it was not enough 
to power the Class 6A State Champions to the Finals.

Jamail Jones and James Bell where too much for Winter Park to handle as they combined for 42 points 
and 19 rebounds to power Montverde to victory.

Rivers in defeat stated, “We had way too many turnovers,” Rivers then went on to say. “You can’t expect 
to win when you’re turning the ball over that much.”
