Dr Phillips Alumni and Two-time World Series Champion Ready for a New Start in Detroit...
After patrolling the outfield for the New York Yankees the last few years. Johnny Damon prepares for the 2010 season with his new team the Detroit Tigers.
Damon, a resident of Windermere, FL and graduate if Dr. Phillips H.S. in 1992, is getting ready to wrap up Tigers spring training in Lakeland, FL and assume his new position in the outfield at Comerica Park.
Johnny Damon holds the very distinct honor of winning World Series Championships with both the Boston Red Sox and New York Yankess, two of the most famous franchises in sports.
