Olympia and Dr. Phillips do battle on the hardwood once again, but this time the loser gets no second chance...
Rivals Collide Once Again for Playoff Three-Match...
If the tension between Dr. Phillips and Olympia had not reached its peak before, it
certainly has now. The rival schools bring their fight to the basketball courts on
Tuesday night for the third time this season at Dr. Phillips High School. The teams
split the first two meetings, each by margins within ten points. The Titans took
home the win in January with a six point victory, but Dr. Phillips redeemed the loss
on Valentine's day with a 75-71 win, earning the Panthers the 2009 district crown.
Each team won their first round play-off games by double-digit margins, which sets
the stage for game three where the loser goes home and the winner plays on...
